Tour Information

The Goondawanna Rainforests have so much to offer only a short drive from the Gold Coast beaches. This small group tour offers a truly personalised experience with no more than 15 people per tour and door to door service from your central Gold Coast hotel.

Visit the Stunning Natural Arch waterfall with a fully guided walk from an expert local guide. Learn about the unique flora and fauna of the rainforest as you make you way. From inside the cave see the water cascading through the roof of the basalt cave which has been formed over millions of years.

Continuing the tour, Best of All Lookout offers a view of northern New South Wales and Mount Warning. The walk to this magnificent lookout takes you through one of the few remaining pockets of ancient Antarctic beech forest.

Afternoon refreshments of cold drinks and snacks will be provided before heading to the viewing platform to see Purling Brook Falls.

During the journey tour commentary on the area and wildlife is provided along with great scenery of the Numinbah valley. Take in the views of Twin Falls and Rainbow falls from Canyon Lookout on the way home. On the return journey to the Gold Coast, sightings of kangaroos and the pretty faced wallabies is common as they emerge form their bush retreats to feed on the lush grass in the cooler part of the day.

DEPARTURE: 12:00 – 12:30 P.M. Pickup time will be given at time of booking.

RETURN: Approx 5.30 P.M..

This tour does not provide any offroad driving due to World Heritage flora and Fauna protection areas

Dependant on tour a minimum of people is required to run any of our tours. We will notify you if the minimal numbers have not been met and a full refund will be given along with alternative dates or tours should you wish to move dates. The operator will endeavour to adhere to all tour details as published, however, circumstances beyond our control such as road and weather conditions or mechanical failure may require to alter or cancel any route itinerary departure without notice. This is thought with full consideration for your enjoyment. NO REFUND or compensation will be given in these circumstances. The operator reserves the right to cancel any tour, change vehicle type, alter the itinerary or arrange an alternative operator if necessary. Southern Cross 4WD Tours cannot guarantee pick up or drop off times and are not liable for passenger failure to connect with other services. The operator will not accept responsibility for any problem, complaint or claim resulting from the provision of a service or failure to provide a service by any travel partner, transportation, accommodation or other supplier. Whilst we make every effort to safe guard our clients and their belongings we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to events, which are beyond our control. All children on any tour must be accompanied by an adult. Children rates are 3-13 years.

In addition to WTC’s terms and conditions; Southern Cross 4WD Tours Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 1 days of the start date incur a 100% fee. Between 1 and 2 days incur a 50% fee.
