Immerse yourself in the wilderness of the Noosa Everglades; kayak the twists and turns of the Noosa River, walk to the ancient Cooloola Sandpatch and camp in the bush beside the cool tannin waters of the Noosa Everglades.

Departing Location: Elanda Point Kayak and Canoe Launching Area, 204 Lake Flat Road

Tour Duration: 8.30am on Day 1 until 3.00 pm on Day 3

  • Kinaba (Sir Thomas Hiley) Information Centre
  • Noosa Everglades
  • Harry’s Hut
  • and the upper Noosa River
  • Walk to the Cooloola Sandpatch (from Campsite 3)

What to bring:

  • Food for 3 days
  • Water bottle and Water (2litres/person/day – 2 x 5lt water bladders available from supermarket is the most suitable)
  • Sun hat, sunglasses
  • Rash vest/T-Shirt
  • Board shorts/swimmers
  • Towel
  • Shoes that can get wet
  • Rain Jacket
  • Shoes and socks for walking
  • Day pack
  • Change of clothes
  • Torch & lots of spare batteries
  • Sleeping bag
  • Insect repellent
  • 50+ sunscreen
  • Camera (and plastic zip lock bag)
  • and of course your sense of adventure!

Inclusions: Kayaking and Safety Equipment, Esky for Food Storage, Dry Bag for clothes, camping equipment as required, map with photo and text, land mark orientation & kayaking tuition, Camping Permit- we will be booking your camping permit unless you let us know you wish to do this yourselves. *Kanu Kapers Australia reserves the right to cancel or alter any tour dates and/or tour times. In these cases, you will be informed as soon as possible and every effort will be made to reschedule your activity at the earliest possible time convenient. Unless weather conditions represent a threat to safety and well being, we will endeavor to proceed with the tour as booked. If you choose to cancel your tour due to weather conditions, the above cancellation policy will apply. Kanu Kapers Australia reserves the right to suspend operations indefinitely due to events beyond our control. In this case activities will be resumed as soon as conditions safely allow. In the event of a ‘Natural Disaster’ (eg flood, fire, cyclone etc) and your tour is unable to proceed no refund applies. We strongly recommend Travel Insurance to cover these situations.
