Kiwiberry Packer – Motueka, Tasman (4 views)

Kiwiberries grow on vines like kiwifruit but are the size of large grapes.

The season is short and intense only lasting around 10 – 14 days. Start date is dependent on fruit maturity but expecting to start around the 17th Feb.

Staff need to have working visa and good English language skills, the orchard is 12km from Motueka therefore personal transport is required as there is no accommodation on site, but space may be made available to campers.

Wages are on a casual rate of $22.5/hr with a $1 bonus at the end of the season. 12 positions available.

Job Requirements

Staff need to be physically fit as will be standing all day, have good hand eye coordination, personal hygiene, finger nails need to be cut short. The position will vary in the packing shed and will include, grading fruit, packing into punnets, punnets into trays and loading trays onto pallets.
