The Hospitality Assistant role offers variety, and is vital in ensuring the smooth and effective running of our property. Based on past experience and preference, there is an opportunity to work in either Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, or pick up hours in both departments.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Tasks in the Housekeeping department will involve:

  • Cleaning of rooms, including making beds, replacing linen, disinfecting surfaces, and vacuuming.
  • Cleaning and tidying of public areas, including the lobby and public toilets.
  • Re-stocking supplies, including linen and cleaning supplies.

Tasks in the Food & Beverage department will involve:

  • Greeting and seating customers, and taking food and beverage orders.
  • Serving food and beverages to guests.
  • Clearing tables and returning dishes to the kitchen.
  • Collecting payments from sales and operating the point of sale system and cash register.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to have:

  • At least 1 year experience in a similar hospitality role, and
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.

Pay Rate: $25
