25 Avocado Farm workers are required for six to eight months’ work from around early June, 2020 through until mid-end January, 2021 on a large Avocado operation around the locations of Fisherman’s Reach and Comboyne areas of NSW. Work will involve picking and packing avocados and general crop management. This may be followed by berry picking and packing (blueberries and raspberries) around the Corindi area. Workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated and capable of sustained heavy work.

Hours of work will vary according to harvest requirements. Wages will be paid at standard casual award rates and work will be over 5-6 days per week, depending on weather conditions with average minimum weekly work hours exceeding 30 hours per week. Accommodation and transport may be provided at cost.
