| Before you Leave Home
You will receive:
- Our Pre-Departure Handbook, detailing our services and commonly asked questions;
- Your Australian mobile phone number (no need to be out of touch for even a moment!); and
- Your log in details for the WTC Online Job Registration System.
When You Arrive in Australia
Airport Transfers and Accommodation
Our hosts will greet you at the airport and take you to your premium hostel accommodation (breakfast included), pre-booked for 3 days from arrival. You can chill out in your dorm room or meet other travellers. |  | Orientation Session
Once you check into the hostel you will receive a Welcome Letter with the date, time and location of your WTC orientation. The 3 hour orientation session is a great opportunity to meet fellow travellers and learn about working, socialising, outdoor activities, travelling and having fun in Australia.
At this session you will receive:
- A Welcome pack;
- All details for your Australian bank account;
- An application form and assistance with applying for a Tax File Number (essential to work in Australia);
- Your mobile phone SIM card; and
- Your WTC Membership Card.

Work and Travel Company is the only Australian working holiday company
which has its own in-house recruitment agency. We have established
relationships with hundreds of employers built over many years and we
have a constant stream of casual work coming through our office. As a
WTC member you can get SMS and email notifications when suitable jobs
become available, wherever you are in the country. You can also log on
to our online job registration service to check out what’s on offer.
All of the jobs we offer are exclusive to WTC members.
Money
Before
you arrive we will organise the opening of your Australian Bank
account. On arrival we activate your bank account and guide you through
the process of applying for an Australian Tax File Number, so you’ll be
all set to work anywhere in Australia as quickly as possible.
Mail and Internet Access
As
a WTC member you have your own private mailbox at the WTC Centre in
Sydney. We can either hold your mail, or forward it wherever you are
across Australia. You can access the internet for free at the WTC
Centre in Sydney and at 15 locations across Australia.

contact WTC 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at no charge, using our
toll-free number and let us help you get back to having fun as soon as
